Leopard Stays Home

They say leopard print is for going out. For evenings that start with a reservation and end with someone else’s playlist. Nobody ever mentions how it feels on a quiet Tuesday, at home, when the only audience is the floor and the late light through the blinds.

This photograph was taken on one of those Tuesdays. No reservation, no playlist. Just the dress that everyone assumes needs an occasion, discovering that it is the occasion.

The leopard stayed home. It has never looked wilder.
